Head over for a night of wonderful Alt.Country music in one of our favourite gig venues.
An ever-evolving alt.country band whose inspiration comes from the likes of Chet Baker and The Velvet Underground, and mirrors the songwriting craftsmanship of Gene Clark and Emmylou Harris. They've received plaudits from John Parish and Califone's Tim Rutili. They may play some new music for the first time alongside some favourites.
Trent Miller originally hails from just outside Turin, and since arriving in London in 2006, his fusions of folk, rock, goth and americana have seen him attract a growing following.
His 2009 debut album gained wide acclaim and received substantial press coverage and airplay including Cerys Matthews on BBC6 music. Q Magazine describes Trent's music as "darkly underground mix of hangovers, anguised love, mournful blues and lonesome country". Not to be missed!
Luke is a singer/songwriter and a member of The Whybirds. In 2011 he recorded his first solo album which received great critical acclaim and launched his solo career. You say it Tuck-Shearer!
